Responsibilities

As an educator in our kindergarten and school-age rooms, your primary responsibility is support children, families and the team of educators within the LEF centre. Each morning, snack is provided for children to ensure they are ready to learn. As an educator your role is to create opportunities for children to learn through planned activities and support their nature curiosity. In the afternoon, this learning continues through child-led activities, indoors and outdoors, with educators who eagerly join in their play. Educators focus on building positive relationship with children and families that support confidence and build resilience. 

Ratios: 

2 educators and up to 26 children for kindergarten groups 
2 educators and up to 30 children from grades 1-6 (mixed ages)
